Amber Rockwell is a writer in North Carolina who loves peace and quiet but who also homeschools her boys, so she rarely gets any.

She eats chocolate and writes into late hours of the night on a screened-in porch with various and sundry cats on her lap. In addition to the three ‘C’s of cats, children, and chocolate, Amber also loves doing almost anything outside - running, biking, hiking, swimming, reading, sitting.

Amber is married to Justin, who is the extrovert to her introvert. Like Susie in Open Season, Amber is great friends with her mother and likes to play it safe.
